Job Summary
The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing stationery, cosmetics, and perfume products to ensure optimal stock levels, competitive pricing, and consistent quality. The role involves working closely with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics teams to support smooth operations and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase stationery, cosmetics, and perfume products in line with company requirements
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid overstocking or shortages
Ensure products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and brand guidelines
Track market trends, new products, and competitor pricing
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, sales, and finance teams
Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or discrepancies
Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
Proven experience as a Purchaser or Buyer, preferably in stationery, cosmetics, or perfumes
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good knowledge of cosmetic and perfume regulations and product standards (preferred)
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
