Job Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Purchaser to streamline procurement, increase supplier-based income (shelf rental, listing fees, etc.), and improve stock efficiency across food and non-food categories.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle purchasing for food and non-food items.
Negotiate better pricing, shelf rentals, and supplier contributions.
Formalize all purchases via LPOs and maintain supplier visits.
Clear ageing stock and promote fast-moving products.
Track inventory and work closely with warehouse and store teams.
Ensure purchase efficiency and documentation compliance.
Requirements:
5+ years of purchasing experience in a supermarket or hypermarket.
Strong supplier negotiation and category knowledge.
Familiar with stock movement, ageing, and procurement systems.
UAE experience preferred
