Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Purchase Officer

with a background in the perfume manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, packaging components, and managing supplier relationships to ensure a smooth and cost-effective supply chain. This role requires a deep understanding of the perfume manufacturing process, inventory management, and planning to support production needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure raw materials, essential oils, fragrance ingredients, packaging components, and other materials required for perfume production. Evaluate and select reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain positive relationships. Monitor inventory levels and plan purchasing activities to ensure materials are available for production schedules. Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies. Coordinate with production, R&D, and logistics teams to meet production requirements and minimize downtime. Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to delays, quality discrepancies, or shortages. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements. Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Monitor and control procurement budgets to achieve cost savings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

4-5 years

of experience as a Purchase Officer in the

perfume manufacturing

industry. Strong knowledge of raw materials, essential oils, and fragrance components used in perfume production. Proven experience in planning, inventory management, and procurement strategies. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word). Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with international suppliers and understanding of import/export regulations. Familiarity with quality standards and compliance requirements in the perfume industry
