. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing fragrance raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods, negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely procurement aligned with the company's production and sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers of raw materials (essential oils, aroma chemicals), bottles, caps, boxes, and other packaging.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new vendors to improve quality, cost-efficiency, and lead times.
Ensure procurement aligns with production schedules, marketing plans, and seasonal demand fluctuations.
Monitor and manage stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Review purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
Collaborate with R&D, production, and warehouse teams to forecast needs and manage materials effectively.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Stay updated with UAE import/export regulations, customs clearance processes, and product compliance standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum
3 years of UAE experience
in purchasing for
perfume, cosmetics, or FMCG industry
.
Strong knowledge of fragrance raw materials and packaging components.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with UAE market trends, suppliers, and import regulations.
Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Zoho).
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
