Purchasing policy and planning
Purchasing project prioritization and management
Managing purchasing information and systems, and purchasing services IT
Managing purchasing staff managing suppliers, relationships,
Effective proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet, and to supply demand to relevant quality
Negotiating and administration of purchasing contracts
Make or buy policy analysis and decisions
Cost saving budgeting and targeting
Outsourcing strategy/development/management
Payment terms negotiation, optimization and management
Stock and materials management
International trading issues/imports/legal, awareness and management
Establishing foreign and domestic suppliers
Negotiating the lowest prices
Acquiring materials and parts needed
Structuring product contracts
Placing orders and checking shipment
Appraising products and services

Warehousing, distribution, shipping management
Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand.
Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs.
Analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions

Overseeing stock control and processing orders.
Fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation\'s team
Keeping stock control systems up to date.
Planning future capacity requirements.
Producing regular reports and statistics.
