Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies for local and international procurement of building materials and hardware products.
Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and build strong long-term vendor relationships.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to forecast and maintain optimal stock levels.
Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Track market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure timely delivery of materials by monitoring order timelines, logistics, and resolving supply chain issues.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly based on quality, pricing, reliability, and compliance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards in all procurement activities.
Lead and supervise the purchasing team, providing guidance and performance management.
Coordinate closely with finance, logistics, and sales departments for seamless operations.
