Purchase Expeditor/ Project Expeditor - RAK Logistics & Supply Chain
Skills required:
Year of Experiences :- 05 Years and above
Education :- Engineer Mechanical
Two years once air ticket
Should have UAE Driving License.
Purchase Expeditor/ Project Expeditor - RAK Logistics & Supply Chain
Skills required:
- Should be an engineer (preferably mechanical)
- Experienced in expediting the long lead & short lead materials from many suppliers simultaneously
- Ability to understand the GA/fabrication drawings and basic manufacturing milestones
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong negotiator, good judgment skills and self-confidence.

- Plan and Organize
- Single point responsible for timely delivery of all ordered material
- Coordinate with all stakeholders (suppliers, project managers, engineering, buyers, quality) to eliminate bottlenecks
- Desk expediting, collect progress reports from suppliers, review and challenge
- Shop expediting at supplier\'s workshops, monitor the fabrication progress, identify deviations to the plan and anticipate any constraints which may cause delays
- Track milestones in line with project needs, identify the risks and suggest mitigation plan
- Expedite all inspection notification for "W" and "H\' points as per approved ITP
- Support inspection team for NCR closure with vendors whenever required
- Issue to the Project a weekly progress report (with pictures) for each supplier
- Keep a log of all expediting tasks duration of the visit, reference to the expediting report, etc.
- Support during claim management with vendors
- Coordination with logistics
- Participates in supplier performance evaluation and project capitalisation meetings
- Jobs require travel mainly within the UAE, however may require to travel outside the UAE too.
