We are seeking a highly skilled

Purchase Executive

with strong experience in handling purchases of

fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuff products

. The ideal candidate should be computer-literate, efficient in email communication, and capable of managing supplier relationships to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and purchase fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuff products from local and international suppliers. Evaluate supplier offers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery. Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and related documents. Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, and stock availability. Coordinate with the operations and accounts team to ensure accurate billing and documentation. Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize purchasing. Handle daily email correspondence with suppliers and internal departments.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a

Purchase Executive

in the

foodstuff / fruits & vegetables trading industry

(preferred). Proficiency in

MS Office (Word, Excel)

and strong

email communication skills

. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of local and international suppliers in the food industry is an added advantage. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
