Inspect incoming fruits and vegetables for freshness, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Conduct quality checks at receiving, storage, and dispatch stages.
Record and report non-conformance, spoilage, or any deviations to the QC Supervisor.
Assist in sorting, grading, and sampling of fresh produce based on size, ripeness, and external appearance.
Monitor temperature and storage conditions in line with food safety requirements.
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness in QC areas and support implementation of HACCP and ISO standards.
Assist in documentation, sample collection, and daily QC reporting.
Support stock rotation practices (FIFO/FEFO) and check for shelf-life compliance.
Collaborate with the warehouse and procurement teams for quality-related feedback and improvements.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Food Technology or Agriculture is a plus
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in fruits and vegetables sector.
Basic understanding of food safety, handling, and hygiene standards.
Proficient in basic MS Office applications for reporting.
