Job Summary:

The Purchase Representative is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring construction materials, tools and services. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement in coordination with project, site and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and develop reliable suppliers for construction materials and services. Request quotations, evaluate offers, and negotiate prices and delivery terms. Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery. Coordinate with site and store teams to confirm material requirements and deliveries. Verify supplier invoices and ensure documentation accuracy before submitting to finance. Maintain approved vendor lists and assess supplier performance regularly. Ensure all materials meet project specifications and company standards. Monitor market prices and support cost control initiatives. Maintain procurement records and submit periodic reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in construction or building material procurement within the UAE. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of construction materials and local suppliers. Proficient in MS Office and ERP/procurement software. Strong organization, attention to detail and multitasking ability. Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
