Role Overview

The Public Relations Officer cum Debt Collector is responsible for recovering overdue payments while maintaining professional relationships with customers and external stakeholders. The role also acts as a liaison between the company and government authorities, clients, and service providers, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Contact customers regarding overdue payments and follow up regularly until resolution. Negotiate payment plans, settlements, or extensions and document all agreements accurately. Maintain clear records of customer communications and payment arrangements. Coordinate with the Finance team to track outstanding accounts and report collection progress. Ensure all collection activities comply with UAE laws and company policies. Handle payment disputes professionally and work with customers to reach amicable solutions. Liaise with government authorities, clients, and external service providers as required. Represent the company professionally in external meetings and communications. Prepare and maintain documentation related to collections, payment schedules, and agreements. Engage legal advisors or recovery agencies when necessary for complex cases. Monitor and report recovery status, outstanding balances, and collection performance to management. Balance effective debt recovery with maintaining positive customer relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in debt collection, accounts receivable, or credit control. Strong customer service or public relations background. Knowledge of debt recovery processes and UAE regulations. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Arabic speaker preferred. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive situations professionally.
