A leading construction company in Dubai is looking for an experienced and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government and legal documentation related to construction activities, labor, and company compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the UAE construction sector and be well-versed in regulatory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all employee visa processes including new applications, renewals, cancellations, and medicals.
Liaise with government departments such as MOHRE, GDRFA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and DEWA.
Manage documentation related to labor approvals, work permits, and site-specific NOCs.
Ensure timely renewal of company licenses, building permits, and project-related approvals.
Assist with the processing of approvals for construction activities, site access permits, and utility connections.
Stay updated on changes to construction regulations, labor law, and health and safety requirements.
Coordinate with project managers and HR to ensure workforce legal compliance.
Represent the company in all official matters with government authorities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of PRO experience in the UAE, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality, MOHRE, Civil Defense, and other relevant authorities' procedures.
Native Arabic Speaker with fluent in English
Familiar with UAE labor law and construction-related regulatory frameworks.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
