Job Purpose:
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will serve as the primary point of contact between the Home Health Care Center and patients' families. The role focuses on
effective communication, coordination, issue resolution, and relationship management
to ensure patient and family satisfaction while supporting smooth service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Patient & Family Coordination
Act as the
main liaison between the home care center and patients' families
.
Communicate care plans, schedules, service updates, and changes clearly and professionally.
Coordinate
admissions, service initiation, modifications, and discontinuation
with patient families.
Address concerns, feedback, and complaints from families and ensure timely resolution.
Communication & Relationship Management
Build and maintain
positive relationships
with patients and their families.
Ensure families are informed about
policies, procedures, and service terms
.
Handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and cultural awareness.
Operational Coordination
Coordinate with
medical, nursing, physiotherapy, and operations teams
to align patient care with family expectations.
Assist in scheduling visits and resolving service-related issues.
Support smooth transitions during caregiver changes, leave coverage, or emergencies.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of patient communications, requests, and complaints.
Prepare reports on patient feedback and service issues for management review.
Ensure proper documentation and consent forms are communicated and acknowledged by families.
Support & Compliance
Ensure all communications align with
DHA regulations, patient confidentiality, and company policies
.
Assist during inspections, audits, or family meetings when required.
Represent the company professionally in meetings with patient families.
Qualifications & Requirements:
UAE National (Emirati) - Mandatory
Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification preferred.
Experience in
patient relations, customer service, or healthcare coordination
preferred.
Strong understanding of
home health care services
is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in
Arabic and English
.
Ability to manage complaints, expectations, and sensitive situations professionally.
