Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Leasing Manager
to oversee and drive the leasing operations across our property portfolio. This role is critical to securing high-quality tenants and businesses that align with our firm's long-term objectives and the strategic vision of our property owners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all leasing activities to ensure timely occupancy with reliable, long-term tenants.
Identify and lease to tenants--both individuals and businesses--that align with the company's long-term strategic and financial goals.
Develop and execute leasing strategies that maximize occupancy and property value.
Supervise and support leasing agents, including training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
Conduct market research to stay informed on competitor offerings and shifting market trends.
Ensure all leasing transactions comply with legal requirements and company policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing tenants.
Coordinate with marketing to create effective leasing campaigns and promotions.
Handle high-priority tenant issues and conflict resolution with professionalism and tact.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in leasing, preferably in both residential and commercial property settings.
Demonstrated success in leasing to stable, long-term clients and businesses.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of local and national leasing regulations and fair housing laws.
Proficiency in leasing and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage).
Preferred Skills
Real Estate License (as required by jurisdiction).
Experience with lease-ups and new developments.
Bilingual abilities are an asset.
