Project Sales Manager

Job Description

We are looking to bring onboard an enthusiastic leader who will partner in our strategic journey towards doubling Hempel ! In this role as a Project Sales Manager, you will be responsible to develop and communicate strategic sales plans to increase market share and sales and ensure achievement and execution of business targets in terms of volume, value and profitability.

Here's some of the other things you can look forward to:

Capable of leading a sales Team.

Main point of contact for the above the line (ATL) customers, and develop long term relationships with major accounts through strategic account development plan (ADP).

Manage, pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers and project to ensure good business pipelines and business growth sustainability.

Develop long-term sales plans for key customers, accounts and project opportunites and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met through strategic account development plan (ADP).

Refer sales leads, customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.

Actively focus on introduction and launch of new decorative products lines,and Flooring.

Respond to more complex customer enquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue goals.

Manage working capital through active management of account receivables.

Cooperate with Infra commercial team and cross-function departments in joint projects.

Actively use and update CRM Tools and IQS for Sales and business dashboards (i.e. regular updating of Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Tasks/Activities).

Shall adhere to all company policies, including procedures related to QMS and EMS.

This role will be based in Oman and would report into the Commercial Director- Deco Projects/Middle East.

You should also have the following qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or any other related field (preferably Chemistry Degree) &/or proven leadership experience in commercially driven strategic consultative sales is required.

Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, CRM, Teams and Dynamic AX).

Arabic & English are essential

Quality oriented with proven experience of working to quality standards.

Organised and capable of meeting deadlines.

Flexible and adaptable attitude.
