Job Summary

We are seeking a

Senior MEP Project Engineer

to manage and drive the complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) execution for complex building projects in Dubai. The role requires deep technical knowledge, advanced coordination skills, and the ability to independently manage the full lifecycle from detailed design review through to final commissioning and handover.

Extensive, recent project experience in the Dubai construction market is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design Validation:

Conduct comprehensive technical review of all MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and specifications. Ensure strict adherence to project requirements, international codes, and crucial local regulations (DEWA, DM, TECOM).

Integrated Project Management:

Serve as the lead technical interface, directing communications and resolving complex clashes between MEP systems, structural components, and architectural finishes using advanced coordination practices (BIM knowledge preferred).

Site Execution Oversight:

Direct and oversee the MEP subcontractors' execution plan. Ensure installation quality, compliance with approved drawings, adherence to the master construction schedule, and efficient resource allocation on-site.

Compliance & Approvals:

Proactively manage and secure all necessary authority approvals (DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.) for MEP installations and utility connections.

T&C Leadership:

Lead the Testing, Adjusting, and Commissioning (T&C) process, managing functional performance testing and ensuring a smooth, fully operational system handover to the client and maintenance teams.

Reporting:

Prepare detailed progress reports, risk assessments, and corrective action plans for the Project Manager.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
