We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Coordinator / MEP Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in MEP systems with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the UAE construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all MEP services and ensure integration with architectural and structural components.
Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for MEP works.
Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors for technical and scheduling issues.
Supervise site execution of MEP works ensuring compliance with project specifications and UAE standards.
Monitor and control project progress and report to the Project Manager.
Attend technical meetings and inspections with consultants and local authorities (DEWA, DM, etc.).
Plan and schedule MEP activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and execution.
Ensure MEP systems are installed and tested according to approved drawings and standards.
Coordinate testing & commissioning and final handover of MEP systems.
Maintain quality control and safety compliance on-site.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of proven MEP project experience in the UAE (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and authority regulations (DEWA, DM, Civil Defense, etc.).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera or MS Project).
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
