Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced

MEP Coordinator / MEP Project Manager

to oversee and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, along with associated building services such as lifts, swimming pools, and specialized systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE experience in managing MEP packages for major building projects, ensuring compliance with local authority requirements and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coordinate, and manage all MEP activities from design development to project handover. Review and approve MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and coordination layouts. Supervise and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely and quality project delivery. Ensure full compliance with UAE local authorities' regulations (DEWA, FEWA, SEWA, Civil Defense, RAK Municipality, etc.) and international standards. Coordinate closely with civil and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. Manage project schedules, cost control, and progress reports for all MEP works. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Provide technical support, problem-solving, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure adherence to safety standards, company procedures, and project specifications. Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in

Mechanical

or

Electrical Engineering

(mandatory).

Experience:

Minimum

12-15 years

of MEP experience in the UAE, preferably with

main contractors

. Proven track record managing large-scale MEP contracts and building services packages. Strong knowledge of

local authority regulations

and

international MEP standards

. Proficient in project planning, resource allocation, and coordination of multiple stakeholders. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Strong background in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.). Familiarity with BIM/Revit and AutoCAD coordination. Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
