• Reliably structures multiple complex problems into key questions and issues/logic tree, ensuring an integrated project work plan and applies PEP principles.
• Creates value for the client, by ensuring the team develops high-quality solutions that create tangible impact for the client.
• Works in calibration with subordinate teams and senior management levels at a client and/or within Roland Berger, involving negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
• Demonstrates latitude in decision-making and determination of objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
• Provides the team with techniques, space for ideas and intellectual guidance to develop innovative and progressive approaches.
• Demonstrates in-depth understanding of the business challenges of clients in the Telecom Media & Technology (TMT) space (industry trends & drivers, new technologies & regulations, emerging business models, competitive landscape, positioning of key players, growth opportunities).
• Independently draws up a realistic work plan for projects with several modules, taking critical interdependencies into account.
• Clearly defines structures and processes that give the team the necessary guidance to ensure delivery of the expected results.
• Gathers client issues beyond the scope of the current project in order to identify potential need for support and shares ideas with superiors.
• Produces complete well-structured presentations and executive summaries, alone or leads the team effort, with a convincing storyline and chart design, tailored to the needs of the audience.
• Presents and discusses critical presentations and own opinions/ideas in a professional and self-assured manner.
• Systematically offers occasions to give/receive feedback on work results and personal behavior using various tools.
• Gives team members challenging yet manageable tasks according to skill level, provides regular, well-balanced feedback and gives guidance, if necessary.
• Provides regular and well-balanced feedback, support and guidance to help team members acquire new skills or develop existing skills within the project framework.

Qualifications

• MBA or master\'s degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Finance or Business Administration including STEM, from a global top university or business school
• 6+ of experience in consulting with top tier strategy firms in the TMT space working with corporate clients (e.g. telecom, media or technology players) and/or government entities (e.g. ministries, regulators, sovereign wealth funds, etc.).
• Experience in working on \'big picture\' strategy projects which includes corporate strategy ((B2C / B2B / wholesale), commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy (core / emerging services), pricing strategy
• Deep understanding of key industry trends (mobile carriers next-gen innovation, disruption of OTT/streaming video, adjacent B2C and B2B digital market offerings)
• Outstanding analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with proven experience in quantitative analysis
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English, Arabic speaking is an advantage
• Presenting results to clients
• Middle East experience preferred but not necessary
