Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities



Ensure full implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Safety Plan on-site along with its good interaction with the Consultant, Project Manager/s (PMs), Safety Officers and Third-Party Inspection agencies (if any).Review and study all Contract documents. Ensure full implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP). Enforce and implement policies and procedures on-site. In charge of the execution of the Project within the allocated time and budget set. Meet financial objectives by participating actively in forecasting requirements for budget preparation, schedule expenditures, analysing variations. Track the project cost in order to meet the budget. Effective cost control of project. Monitor the progress and make adjustment as needed. Ensure resources availability and allocation. Ensure proper planning and monitoring of site activities and progress. Ensure full compliance to the quality of work with contract specifications and drawings. Measure project performance to identify area of concerns for improvement. Proper and smooth coordination between project site and head office with regards to purchase of construction equipment and all other communication in monitoring of the progress of the project. Utilize industry best practices techniques and standards throughout the entire project execution. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. Report and escalate the area of concern to management as needed. Ensure effective communication interface coordination with other existing contractors and subcontractors on-site. Ensure all variations are immediately acknowledged and confirm intentions to claim. Manage the relationship with the Client and all stakeholders delegate. Attend conferences and trainings as required to maintain proficiency. Obtain all Authorities Completion Certificates. Perform other related duties as assigned. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget.

Minimum Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a Master's degree is preferred; A PMP certification is an added value; Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, superiors/managers, clients and other external contacts. Has the capability to prepare, develop and analyse budgets. Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget. Is an effective coach/supervisor for his staff. Has outstanding skills in project management, process improvement, budget tracking expenses, planning and performance management. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in Arabic language is an additional skill. 10 years or more of experience in a senior leadership position.
