Job Title: Project Manager Oil Storage Terminal Construction Location: Initially based at Head Office in Sharjah; Project Site Abu Dhabi Industry: EPC Oil & Gas (Onshore) Salary: AED 20,000 22,000 Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the pre-construction, FEED, and execution phases of a major Oil Storage Terminal project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project planning, construction execution, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring delivery of high-quality, timely, and cost-effective outcomes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Pre-Construction & FEED Phase
Lead constructability reviews during FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and early engineering stages.
Develop comprehensive construction execution strategies (modularization, pre-fabrication, workface planning).
Align design deliverables with construction objectives in coordination with consultants, procurement, and project controls.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities and key stakeholders.
Define site infrastructure, including temporary setups and logistics.
Support development of contracting strategies and construction sequencing plans.
2. Construction Planning & Execution
Develop and implement the Construction Execution Plan (CEP).
Create method statements, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and productivity benchmarks.
Plan and mobilize workforce and resources efficiently.
Integrate HSE best practices and risk management into all construction plans.
3. Site Management & Project Delivery
Manage day-to-day site activities ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Monitor construction progress; resolve site-level bottlenecks promptly.
Facilitate coordination among Engineering, Procurement, Main Contractor, subcontractors, and site teams.
Ensure compliance with EPC contract terms, technical specs, and client expectations.
4. Risk & Change Management
Identify and mitigate construction-related risks (delays, cost overruns, safety issues).
Manage change orders, contract variations, and claims with relevant stakeholders.
Implement continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 15 years in EPC construction management, especially in Oil Storage Terminals, Pipelines, and related infrastructure.
