Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager with strong joinery and interior fit-out expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading joinery/wood-work-rich fit-out projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards. The role combines technical joinery knowledge, project execution skills, stakeholder management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of joinery/fit-out projects (concept/design development, procurement, manufacturing/workshop, site installation, handover). Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and allocate manpower, materials and equipment accordingly. Review, interpret and ensure compliance with technical drawings, shop drawings, specifications and BOQs for joinery works. Coordinate between clients, architects/designers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments (design, manufacturing, site). Oversee procurement, material approvals, manufacturing/workshop production, logistics and site installation of joinery elements (cabinets, doors, wardrobes, vanities, etc.). Monitor project budgets, cost-control, forecasts, variations, financial performance. Conduct regular site visits/inspections to monitor progress, quality, workmanship, safety, compliance with HSE/QA/QC standards. Identify project risks, issues and proactive mitigation; ensure change control and documentation of variations. Manage and lead project teams (site supervisors, workshop managers, subcontractors), provide direction and ensure deliverables are met. Ensure seamless handover to client: final inspections, documentation (as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties), client sign-off. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil/Mechanical), Proven track record (e.g., 5-10+ years) of project management in joinery/fit-out or high-end interior fit-out projects. For UAE market especially desirable. Strong knowledge of joinery materials, methods, manufacturing/workshop processes, installation techniques, finishing, hardware, veneers, laminates. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, joinery shop drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction documentation. Excellent project management skills: planning, scheduling (MS Project/Primavera), budgeting, cost control, risk management. Excellent leadership, communication (verbal & written), stakeholder management, client-facing skills. Familiarity with HSE (Health & Safety), QA/QC standards in construction/fit-out environment. Preferably valid UAE Driving Licence and experience working in UAE/GCC region (if role is UAE-based).
Desirable: Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or similar; familiarity with project management software and tools
