Overview of the role :
What you will do :
a) Project Delivery Quality

• Contribute to project briefing and technical standards for electrical engineering aspects of all projects.
• Review all Project Design Stages from Concept to Detailed Design to ensure compliance to project design intent and business requirement.
• Produce formal review / approval status reports for consultant and contractor designs and manage the respective parties' responses and close out.
• In conjunction with other members of the project team, ensure that the completed project is delivered to the required defined quality standard.
• Assist Project Team in the evaluation of site problems and solutions and the testing and commissioning of key works.

b) Project Delivery Progress

• Monitor project progress by working with the project team and report on and initiate measures for corrective actions if project falls behind the specified milestones and programme targets.
• Procures actions from team members and monitor and report on the results of these actions

c) Project Delivery Cost

• Responsible with the project team to monitor costs and prepare and manage actions to maintain cost targets.
• In conjunction with cost team, evaluate variations and prepare budget estimates for the works.

d) Project Value Engineering

• Responsible for undertaking regular value engineering exercises within the project team to ensure that engineered solutions are being maintained within the project's cost parameters.
• Pro-actively evaluate solutions that recognise life cycle costs, particularly for client side where projects are often owner/occupier

e) Project Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain project progress records for inclusion with overall project reporting. This will include procuring these reports from other members of the project team.
• Coordination with the Project Team to ensure delivery of complete designs and the contractor's provision of thorough and correct project documentation.

f) Tender Documentation

• Assists in the preparation of contract documentation to secure and manage various elements of the project.
• Technical input to consultant design RFPs, review and technical assessment of proposals
• Oversight and contractor tender documentation, including review and technical assessment of proposal
