Job Title: Project Manager - E-Commerce

Job Summary:

An E-Commerce Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of e-commerce projects within an organization. This role involves planning, executing, and successfully delivering e-commerce initiatives, including website development, online marketing, and operational improvements, to meet the company\'s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

• Define project objectives, goals, and success criteria.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including web developers, designers, marketers, and analysts, to achieve project milestones.

• Provide clear direction, set priorities, and delegate tasks effectively.
• Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of business needs.

• Translate requirements into actionable project tasks and deliverables.
• Budget Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Identify and address budget discrepancies promptly.
• Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Proactively address issues and challenges that may impact project delivery.
• Project Execution:

• Monitor project progress, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within scope.

• Coordinate efforts to ensure seamless execution of e-commerce initiatives.
• Quality Assurance:

• Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of performance, usability, and functionality in e-commerce systems.
• Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with external vendors, such as web development agencies, ensuring they meet project requirements and deliverables.

• Testing and Deployment:

• Oversee testing phases and ensure thorough quality testing of e-commerce systems before deployment.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth system integration and data migration.
• Performance Analysis:

• Analyze e-commerce metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of e-commerce projects.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.
• Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, including senior management, to provide regular project updates and address concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a project manager, preferably in e-commerce or related fields.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Familiarity with web development, digital marketing, and UX/UI design concepts.
