Job Description

A leading MEP contractor in Dubai is seeking an experienced MEP Projects Manager to oversee MEP drawings, scheduling activities to meet deadlines, and managing onsite operations alongside a team of Engineers. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of MEP project delivery experience and strong leadership skills including familiarity with local regulations. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to ongoing growth in the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination Develop and manage detailed project schedules for MEP works. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and other contractors. Plan procurement schedules and resource allocation. Team & Subcontractor Management Supervise and lead MEP engineers, foremen, and site staff. Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely execution of work. Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews. Budget & Cost Control Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget. Approve material requisitions and subcontractor bills. Identify and manage variations and change orders. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure all MEP installations meet project specifications, local regulations, and international standards. Liaise with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance. Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and technical submittals. Reporting & Documentation Maintain regular project reports, including progress, risks, and resource updates. Ensure accurate documentation of drawings, site changes, and handover procedures. Manage project close-out and final client handover.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum [5-10] years of experience in MEP project management, preferably with a contracting company. Experience in electromechanical works of villa and multi stored building projects. Leading site engineers and technicians in carrying out work on site Documentation and administration- reviewing and submit drawings, submittal change orders, and invoices Arrange material, adequate manpower, responsible for QA&QC. Attend meeting with clients, consultant and contractors. Troubleshooting inevitable issues that arise on site to keep the project progressing. Update manager on progress, requirements on material and manpower upcoming work plan, risk and issue that need solution.

Preferred Qualities:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Experience with design & build projects is an advantage.
