We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage design and engineering projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, extensive project management experience, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects in the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities
:
Plan, execute, and manage complex engineering and design projects from initiation to completion.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications and Requirements
:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
Minimum 15 years
of total experience in project management within the engineering or construction industry.
At least 5 years
of project management experience in the UAE, with strong knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
Proven expertise in managing design and engineering projects, with a focus on delivering within scope, budget, and timeline.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
:
Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure, construction, or industrial projects in the UAE.
Knowledge of UAE-specific standards, codes, and permitting processes.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
