Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Projects Manager to join our construction company in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have at least 15 years of experience in managing large-scale civil construction projects and be a holder of a Dubai Multi-Licensed G12 or Unlimited Civil Engineering license. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and implementation of complex civil construction projects. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and scope, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives. Coordinate all phases of the project, from design through to execution, ensuring timely completion and compliance with local building regulations. Manage, lead, and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure effective collaboration and communication among all stakeholders to achieve project milestones and objectives. Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures align with project budgets. Approve payments to subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contract terms. Identify and assess potential risks to the project, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Enforce strict adherence to safety standards on-site to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Monitor and enforce compliance with local construction laws and regulations. Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. Conduct regular quality inspections on-site and ensure that any deviations are promptly addressed. Work with engineers and inspectors to ensure that all permits, approvals, and inspections are completed on time. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project. Provide regular progress reports, presentations, and status updates to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders. Address any concerns or issues from clients or stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Oversee and manage the execution of contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 15 years in the construction industry with a proven track record of managing large civil projects in Dubai or the UAE. Extensive experience in project management, especially for building projects.

Licensing:

Valid Dubai Multi-Licensed G12 or Unlimited Civil Engineering license (mandatory).

Certifications:

PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certifications in construction management is a plus. Strong understanding of local building codes, safety standards, and construction laws in Dubai. Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to manage and deliver projects within budget and on time.
