Job Description

We seek an experienced and efficient project manager for our civil engineering/construction department at Ashur Contracting LLC.

As a project manager, you will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. Important responsibilities for a Project Manager include:

Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change

Required skills and qualifications

A bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college.

10-15 years

of experience as a project manager, civil engineer or an equivalent role.

Entry Level candidates will not be entertained.

Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD and other software. Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations. Competent in assessing, interpreting and presenting survey reports and other critical data for stakeholders and shareholders. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication. Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

UAE Driving License is a MUST

Preferred skills and qualifications

Relevant engineering certifications, like Project Management Professional (PMP) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). Thorough knowledge of the Dubai Building Code, safety regulations and standards. Excellent interpersonal, leadership and management skills. Knowledge of sustainable construction practices. Understanding of budgeting and cost control.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
