KEY ATTRIBUTES | QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors in event management, marketing, communications, or related field
Proven 4+ years of experience in event management of luxury brands or relevant field in UAE
Exceptional project direction and management skills, ability to manage multiple timelines and deadlines independently
Knowledge of GCC markets with key insights into the luxury sector
Strong experience in creating and designing event programs, including event themes, messaging, branding, out of the box ideas and creative approaches to improving audience engagement and interaction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to manage multiple projects and remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines
Driven, ambitious and enthusiastic about the world of luxury and events
Willing to travel, work on weekends or off hours as needed for events
Solution focused and a quick thinker
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Conceptualization, pitching, budgeting, organization, delivery and management of events in the field of luxury brands within pre-determined budgets
Develop and produce detailed proposals for events with timelines, presentations, venues, suppliers, and documentations
Manage and work on own exhibitions - to plan, secure, coordinate, organise and arrange all facets of exhibitions from initial brief to final activation including: establishing cost projection and managing event budgets, booking and coordinating the venue and accommodations, planning room layouts and the entertainment program, managing the events team and suppliers, guest lists and logistics on site including audio visual equipment, furniture, catering, and giveaways
Managing suppliers and overseeing all elements of events to ensure they are produced to reflect the highest standards of the client and ensuring they attract the caliber of guests aligned to the brand
Develop communications and client management plans and ensure appropriate ongoing event communications around exhibition schedule, project and budget status, key issues and resolutions
Develop ways to reduce event costs and gain new revenue streams at events
Leads post-event wrap-up process to assess event outcomes and debrief learnings with cross- functional event teams and client boards.
Build strong working relationships with key client contacts at a strategic level to learn more about their event needs and challenges, gaining mutual trust and respect
Oversight of external contracts and management of outside agencies when appropriate for key events
