As the Project Manager at Dakos Technical services, you will be at the forefront of building and shaping our operational strategies. Your role will be crucial in establishing processes and systems that ensure our startup operates efficiently and effectively. The Ideal candidate will have a
minimum of 5 years of experience
in the construction industry
MEP/HVAC/ Fit outs/ Construction
. This role requires a leader with strong personality and solid experience, and ability to supervise teams effectively and manage the overall functioning of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities as a Project Manager:
Manage daily operations in both the office and construction sites.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to analyse project requirements and obtain precise cost estimates for labour, materials, and subcontractor services."
Quotation Preparation: Prepare detailed quotation proposals by calculating direct and indirect costs. Ensure that quotations are competitive while maintaining profitability.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks related to cost overruns, scope changes, or unforeseen conditions. Propose mitigation strategies.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of cost estimates, assumptions, and supporting documentation.
Taking quantities from received drawings and preparing BOQ or if BOQ provided confirming the BOQ quantities with drawings and identifying the extra works if any.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity from the ground up.
Attend commercial & contractual meetings with client representatives/consultant financial administration.
Team & Resource Management:
Takes place in recruitment, training, and manage a high-performing team while overseeing resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Foster a results-driven culture, supporting collaboration across departments to meet project goals on time and within budget
Inventory Management: Procurement of materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
Business Development
:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company's client base within the MEP, HVAC, and fit-out sectors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, consultants, and stakeholders, enhancing the company's visibility and reputation
Quality Assurance and Health & Safety
:
Establish and maintain quality standards to ensure that our services meet and exceed customer expectations.
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on-site.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor and analyse KPIs and project progress, preparing regular reports to ensure efficiency, address issues promptly, and maintain operational transparency.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in project management, preferably in a fitout/ building maintenance/technical services/construction field and fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build and manage effective teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
Familiarity with operational tools and technologies.
Must be able to prepare detailed weekly and monthly work schedules and project plans with a proven history of delivering projects on time.
Must have an eye for detail and should be technically sound to pre-empt possible issues in execution and find solutions.
Must have knowledge about authorities' standards of (DEWA, DCD, DDA, DM, Trakhees etc).
Must Have experience dealing with DM systems (DEQsmart, BPS).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering,
must be DM/DEWA approved. with a valid SOE certification.
Valid UAE driver's license
(Required).
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Fitouts (HVAC,MEP) / Maintenance/construction industry.
Education
:
Bachelor's in civil engineering (Required), Master's (preferred).

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
