Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Project Manager - Bridges & Structures Maintenance

to lead and manage bridge and structural maintenance and construction projects for Al Ain Municipality. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring compliance with municipal standards, safety regulations, quality requirements, and approved budgets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee bridges and structures maintenance projects from planning to completion. Ensure compliance with Al Ain Municipality, Abu Dhabi, and international engineering standards and codes. Lead project planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation. Supervise inspections, rehabilitation, strengthening, and maintenance works for bridges and structural assets. Review and approve technical reports, method statements, designs, and maintenance strategies. Coordinate with municipality departments, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities. Manage contracts, variations, claims, and payment certifications. Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress and technical reports. Ensure strict adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil Engineering

(mandatory). Minimum

15 years of experience

in

bridges and structures maintenance and/or construction

. Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or municipal projects. Strong technical knowledge of bridge structures, concrete and steel structures, and maintenance methodologies. Experience in contract administration and FIDIC conditions. Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project, or similar). Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of Abu Dhabi / Al Ain Municipality standards is highly preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is an advantage. English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
