to lead and oversee facade-related construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in aluminum systems and facade engineering, with proven expertise in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning and Coordination
Develop and implement detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and manpower allocation.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, and design teams to ensure compliance with design intent and technical specifications.
Maintain and monitor project timelines, ensuring that key milestones are met.
2. Team Leadership
Lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, coordinators, and site staff.
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular meetings to assess progress and proactively address issues.
3. Client and Stakeholder Management
Serve as the main liaison between the client and internal teams.
Ensure project objectives align with client expectations, and communicate project updates regularly.
Manage stakeholder interests while maintaining professional and productive relationships.
4. Budget and Financial Management
Develop and control project budgets and forecasts in line with organizational goals.
Monitor costs, validate change orders, and maintain accurate financial records.
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
5. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure all project deliverables comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Conduct periodic site inspections and audits to uphold safety and quality expectations.
Address non-conformance issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
6. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain organized project documentation including contracts, schedules, correspondence, and change orders.
Generate periodic progress reports for clients and management highlighting achievements, delays, and solutions.
Requirements:Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 10-15
years
of project management experience in the aluminum facade or related construction sectors.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of facade systems, curtain walls, glazing, and aluminum cladding.
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
Knowledge of construction site safety and local regulations.
