to join our construction management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from planning and procurement to execution and closeout, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of civil works projects including site preparation, earthworks, roads, drainage, and utilities.
Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and manage adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaise with engineers, architects, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
Lead project teams and ensure alignment of activities with project goals and deadlines.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
Manage procurement and subcontractor coordination.
Prepare regular progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing civil construction projects (roads, infrastructure, utilities, etc.).
Strong knowledge of construction practices, methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
