Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES


Coordination with all consultants, ensuring a unified response to the developer's vision, program, and standards. Managing the approval process with government and utility authorities, supported by the inhouse Stakeholder & Approvals Coordinator. Leading regular progress meetings with consultants to maintain synergy throughout the project lifecycle. Engagement with the procurement & development teams to align design outputs with budget, schedule, and phasing requirements. Engage with Delivery team ensuring alignment with the deliverables and logistics plan. Manage the approval process with government and utility authorities, supported by the inhouse Stakeholder & Approvals Coordinator. Track deliverables, submissions, and key milestones to report progress. Support the Design Manager in facilitating value engineering and risk reviews. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


Skills and Competencies




Ability to meet Parsons' project management certification requirements Effective leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity Excellent written and oral communications skills Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects




Education and Typical Experience
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience in infrastructure design, with a strong understanding of design principles & project management. Proficiency in power point presentations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Supervision Received - Regional Managers, Department Managers


- Supervision Given - Project Engineers, project support staff


- Internal Contacts - All employees on project; other disciplines and departments


- External Contacts - Clients, Subconsultants, Subcontractors, Government Agencies
