Civil Engineer Project Manager

We are looking for a well-organized civil engineer project manager with strong leadership skills to join our team. The Project Manager responsibilities include managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for costs and time, completing quality assurance and observing health and safety standards. You should be able to work alongside various professionals and create work schedules that meet deadlines. The Project Manager is mainly responsible for finishing the project on time, within budget, as per plans and specifications, and in a safe environment.

Site Engineer Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, construction, building, or related field

10 years + experience in a similar position

Fluent in English with active listening and verbal communication skills

Experience in working with Microsoft Word

Experience in working with Microsoft Excel

Experience in scheduling software, Primavera and/or Microsoft Project

Great leadership and organizational skills

Preferable to have a UAE driver's license

Site Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily survey works

Earthworks (Excavation, leveling, grading, backfill etc.)

Pouring of ready-mix concrete on site for foundation and slab on grade

Experience in steel structure buildings is a must (Buildings are maximum two stories)

Experience in pre-engineered buildings that has a total area of 500-1000 m2

Supervising electrical works

Supervising mechanical works

Supervising fire alarm and system works

Organizing material and ensuring sites are safe and clean on a daily basis

Ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available on site

Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members

Following up the project's schedule and make sure that the project is being done on time

Delegating tasks to crew members

Have regular weekly meetings with the Client

Read and well understand and analyze project's scope and specifications

Well analyze project's plans and drawings and make sure that all works are being done accordingly

Report to the upper management and update them on a daily basis for works being done
