Civil Resident Engineer / Project Manager with experience in high-rise building construction.

Job Purpose:

To lead, supervise, and manage the construction of a high-rise building project, ensuring compliance with contract documents, approved drawings, and project timelines. The Resident Engineer / Project Manager will act as the client's representative on-site and oversee all aspects of civil works, coordination between disciplines, and contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations and ensure construction activities are progressing according to the approved schedule and quality standards. Supervise civil and structural works to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and safety regulations. Act as the primary point of contact between the client, consultants, contractors, and authorities. Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and construction details. Lead coordination meetings with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and logistical issues. Monitor contractor's progress and issue progress reports, quality reports, and performance evaluations. Ensure timely resolution of RFIs, technical queries, and variation requests. Issue site instructions, NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions. Manage project documentation, approvals, and handover procedures. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is a plus). Minimum 10 -20 years of experience in construction supervision and project management, with at least 7 years in

high-rise building projects

. Proven experience managing large-scale contractors and multi-disciplinary teams. Strong understanding of structural systems, finishing works, and site logistics. Familiar with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
