Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. The role involves overseeing project schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure smooth project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budget with the project engineer and site staff. Oversee the end-to-end execution of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to align project goals. Lead and manage site engineers, site staff, procurement team, and subcontractors. Ensure the efficient allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment. Share and monitor the target schedule and milestone dates in coordination with all relative subcontractors and construction team. Ensure the preparation and approval of the project budget. Ensure the allocated budget matches the project organization. Provide continuous monitoring of project operations. Monitor all activities of mobilization and demobilization of resources. Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve site challenges. Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and safety standards. Work closely with HSE and QA/QC teams to maintain high-quality standards. Address and resolve any technical or contractual issues on-site. Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with the budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Approve procurement requests and validate supplier invoices. Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and project updates for management. Conduct weekly meetings with management to review progress and address concerns. Finalization of the final project and handing over with consultant/client including the final handing over and final statement of account.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. PMP certification is preferred. Minimum 15-20 years of experience in construction project management. Strong knowledge of UAE construction laws and project execution. Proficiency in Primavera P6.
