AECOM are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Contract Project Manager with a strong background in Architecture, or MEP / Structural disciplines to oversee the planning and coordination of projects during the pre-construction phase. This role is critical to ensuring project feasibility, cost effectiveness, and readiness for execution.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the pre-contract phase of multi-disciplinary construction projects.
• Coordinate design development across Architectural, MEP, and Structural teams.
• Develop and manage project briefs, design programs, and milestone schedules.
• Ensure design output aligns with project scope, budget, and client expectations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders during the pre-contract phase.
• Facilitate design and technical coordination meetings.
• Provide clear communication of project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Identify design and procurement risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising quality or performance.
• Ensure all design and tender documents comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all pre-contract activities, correspondence, and approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on pre-contract design phase of residential, hospitality or mixed use developments
• Proven track record in managing complex construction or engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
• Excellent skills in contract negotiation, risk assessment, and stakeholder management
