The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing interior fit-out projects within time, cost, and quality parameters. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in commercial fit-out works, and the ability to coordinate between clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
Ensure timely procurement of materials and services in coordination with procurement team.
Assign tasks to project coordinators, site engineers, and subcontractors, and monitor execution.
Oversee site works to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and deliverables.
Handle client instructions, variation requests, and approvals.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
Coordinate with in-house design, estimation, and procurement teams for seamless execution.
Supervise project engineers, supervisors, and site staff to ensure roles are clearly defined and delivered.
Ensure project manpower is efficiently utilized and managed.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain and monitor project documentation such as contracts, drawings, change orders, site instructions, and snag lists.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management and client.
Prepare and verify work completion certificates and support invoicing procedures.
Cost & Risk Management:
Monitor project costs and proactively take corrective actions to avoid overruns.
Identify risks and prepare mitigation plans to ensure smooth project delivery.
Coordinate with finance and commercial teams to manage project cash flow and payment follow-ups.
Quality & Safety:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures and safety protocols on site.
Coordinate final inspection, snag rectification, and handover to client.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of UAE experience in managing interior fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of fit-out construction processes, materials, and subcontractor coordination.
Excellent project planning skills (Primavera/MS Project), and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office.
Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills.
Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
