Job Description

IPEC are experts in On-line Partial Discharge (PD) testing of MV and HV plant. Through intensive and on-going research and development, IPEC have enabled the detection, location, and analysis of PD to be economically implemented on a large scale, improving network reliability.


Based in Stockport, IPEC offer turnkey solutions for asset monitoring and testing of high voltage insulation for defects that could lead to asset failure. Our products range from simple to use instruments for routine spot testing, to sophisticated, permanently installed systems.


IPEC has its regional office in Saudi Arabia and focuses on OLPDM project execution, SLA maintenance and CBM testing activities with various power utilities.

The Role




IPEC Ltd group are currently going through a fantastic period of growth, and to manage the project backlog, sustain the growth, we are looking for a "Project Engineer".


This role involves managing project execution, performing OLPDM data analysis, preparing reports, and carrying out site visits for SLA-related system maintenance and investigations.

Key Responsibilities



Execute and manage all OLPDM project activities in coordination with internal teams and the customer. Perform detailed analysis of OLPDM data for online PD monitoring systems. Prepare periodic technical reports, findings, and recommendations for the client. Conduct site visits to perform preventive and corrective maintenance for OLPDM systems. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with technical support teams as needed. Support root-cause investigations for abnormal PD activities or system performance issues. Ensure service-level agreement (SLA) compliance and timely delivery of contractual obligations. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, maintenance logs, and system records. Provide technical support and communication to clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements



Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in electrical systems, testing, or monitoring solutions (OLPDM/PD experience is an advantage). Strong understanding of electrical assets such as transformers, switchgear, cables, and substation systems. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret diagnostic data. Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on field experience. Excellent communication, reporting, and customer interaction skills. * Ability to travel extensively with KSA driving license for site visits across Saudi Arabia.
