Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing and monitoring project execution and activities (Project scheduled execution plan, Hydrographic/Bathymetric surveys, NOCs issuance, quantity surveying, construction activities, SHEQ, logistics and other relative components).
- Participate in preparing new projects for tendering (contract documents, BOQ, budget, etc).
- Editing and updating the coastal zone regulations and rules related to contractors & consultants.
- Managing project relationship with other parties and supply chains by negotiating contract terms and conflicts avoidance.
- Reporting (at a management level) project progress report and anticipated cost to completion. Advising on further financial implications and appropriate management actions.
- Regular contract administration including controlling and drafting contractual communications and submittals on behalf of client. Correspondence relating to progress of works, RFI\xe2\x80\x99s, Work Orders, omissions, and defects in work and unforeseen circumstances.
- Advise and reviewing the quantification of works and the operations of the payment cycle, including negotiations and agreement of the valuation of works at the various stages of the project.
- Managing Dubai Beaches facilities and maintenance works (Beach Nourishment, buoys and RFL installation, Rock revetment maintainability, Marine Groins, Jetties, Marinas, and Beach Facilities).
- Regular site inspections and technical follow up on the project which includes: - Marine structures constructing activities. - Monitor the progress on the dredging activities including daily, weekly, and monthly production, RFI\xe2\x80\x99s and the dredging plan. - Checking the land reclamation drawings and plan, advising on the best practice for dewatering process and reviewing the means used to prevent siltation.
- Acting as focal point of communication for any requirements from the allocated authorities, stakeholders, and potential subcontractors
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree / Equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication
- PMP Certified (mandatory)
- Good knowledge about hydrographic survey, Seabed Mapping, Survey Vessels, Coastal and Harbour Monitoring
- 8 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Project Management with minimum 3 years in same role.
- Driving License
