We are a team of 60+ people, representing 15+ nationalities, with offices in Colombia, Kenya, Morocco and the USA. Our team of practitioners has extensive development and government experience, including previous roles in international development banks, national governments, multilateral agencies, INGOs and academia. About the internship program Instiglio offers a unique work experience at the intersection of the private, public, and social sectors. As an Intern, Instiglio will offer you the opportunity to engage with a fast-paced results-oriented environment; experience first-hand the fundamentals of a growing global business; and contribute to the momentum of the results movement in international development. The Trainee Program runs for a period of six (6) months and is open to end-of study Moroccan students. Interns will be based at the Rabat office and will join a growing, entrepreneurial team. Within the team, Interns will work directly with a team composed of a Project lead, Project Manager(s), Senior Associates, Associates and Analysts to deliver high-quality services. Interns support project teams in undertaking research and preparing deliverables for guiding stakeholders through difficult, yet important, changes to their operations by translating complex concepts into understandable insights. You will also gain expertise by contributing to the development of RBF instruments while playing a crucial role in the execution of projects. As an Intern, you will: Facilitate problem-solving and help improve program designs for our public sector clients. Prepare deliverables and high-quality presentations for clients in French and English. Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings. Execute qualitative and quantitative data analysis including describing and interpreting graphs, analyzing data and applying statistical concepts (e.g. mean, SD, regressions) to draw actionable insights/hypotheses. Contribute to teams developing technical components of RBF instruments from scratch by assessing considerations and trade-offs unique to each design. The ideal candidate will be looking to kick-start their career in strategy consulting and international development, and will have the following requirements : Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+4) in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Political Science, Business, Engineering or related fields. Master's degree in a related field is an added advantage. (candidates looking to complete their end-of-studies project will be considered). Language skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English (C1 or professional proficiency) and French (C2 or native). Professional working proficiency in Arabic would be an added advantage. Experience: Work experience (including other internships or trainee programmes) in consulting, international development, public policy, research, or similar fields is highly desirable. Skills Highly analytical with excellent numerical accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) or Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.). Ability to synthesize technical information into simple concepts and analyze information critically. Ability to work independently. High organizational skills and attention to detail. A team player attitude and enthusiasm for relational work with clients. Passion for international development. The program offers you a chance to develop a variety of skills, support in client-facing roles on projects, with the guidance of more experienced senior staff. On the condition of excellent performance and business needs, this position could convert to a full-time position i.e., Analyst. Instiglio offers a strong feedback culture, with all staff receiving bi-annual formal, structured reviews, in addition to real-time feedback. Additionally, a mentorship system and development plans are in place to ensure that staff receive proper support in their professional development. Interns will also benefit from various knowledge exchange sessions (brown bags) where teams from other countries share their experiences from ongoing and/or completed engagements. Working model and benefits The position is based in our Rabat office and Instiglio has adopted a hybrid working model i.e., a minimum of two (2) days a week at the office and 60 remote working days in a year (prorated for the duration of the internship). Applicants must be willing to move to Rabat for a minimum period of four (4) months as the program does not offer a fully remote working arrangement. Instiglio offers Interns a stipend of 3,500 MAD (approx. $ 350) per month among other generous benefits, which include vacation days, personal days to attend to personal emergencies, sick leave and a company holiday. At the moment, the internship does not offer the following benefits: health insurance and relocation (for Moroccan studying abroad). Join our team !
