Who we are Instiglio's mission is to unlock the full impact potential of governments to deliver meaningful outcomes for their citizens. We support our partners to integrate results-based approaches into delivery systems and practices, with the goal of enhancing the effectiveness of public and development finance. Over the last 10 years, we have influenced practices, capabilities, and policy frameworks of governments and aid institutions; delivering over 100 projects in 30 low- and middle-income countries aimed at improving the outcomes of development programs. This work has covered sectors including education, livelihoods, workforce development, health, gender, and climate, shaping the deployment of hundreds of millions of dollars. Our team A core contributing factor to the influence Instiglio has had thus far includes our collaborative, highly skilled and diverse team. We are a team of 60+ people, representing 15+ nationalities, with offices in Colombia, Kenya, Morocco and the USA. Our team of practitioners has extensive development and government experience, including previous roles in international development banks, national governments, multilateral agencies, INGOs and academia. How you will make an impact Instiglio offers a unique work experience at the intersection of the private, public, and social sectors. As an Intern, Instiglio will offer you the opportunity to engage with a fast-paced results-oriented environment; experience first-hand the fundamentals of a growing global business; and contribute to the momentum of the results movement in international development. The Trainee Program runs for a period of four (4) to six (6) months and is open to both Moroccans and International applicants. Interns will be based at the Rabat office and will join a growing, entrepreneurial team. Within the team, Interns will work directly with a team composed of a Project lead, Project Manager(s), Senior Associates, Associates and Analysts to deliver high-quality services. As an Intern, you will: Facilitate problem-solving and help improve program designs for our public sector clients. Prepare deliverables and high-quality presentations for clients in French and English. Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings. Execute qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Support the growth and development of our organization through initiatives such as business development, recruitment, etc. Who you are We are growing a team of resourceful go-getters that are driven by our mission, curious about the world, and dedicated to a life of learning. The ideal candidate will be looking to kick-start their career in international development and will have the following requirements : Education: Bachelor (i.e. BAC+4 and above) in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Business, Engineering or related areas (candidates looking to complete their end-of-studies project will be considered). Language skills: Written and oral working proficiency in French (C2 or native) and English (C1 or professional proficiency). Fluency in Arabic (written and oral) will be an added advantage. Experience: Experience in consulting, government/public sector, community development, or research will be an added advantage. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English. Ability to synthesize technical information into simple concepts and analyze information critically. Ability to work independently. High organizational skills and attention to detail. A team player attitude and enthusiasm for relational work with clients. Passion for international development. How you can grow with us Interns at Instiglio have a chance to develop a variety of skills, support in client-facing roles on projects, with the guidance of more experienced senior staff. On the condition of excellent performance and business needs, this position could convert to a full-time position i.e., Analyst. Instiglio offers a strong feedback culture, with all staff receiving bi-annual formal, structured reviews, in addition to real-time feedback. Additionally, a mentorship system and development plans are in place to ensure that staff receive proper support in their professional development. Interns will also benefit from various knowledge exchange sessions (brown bags) where teams from other countries share their experiences from ongoing and/or completed engagements. Working model and benefits The position is based in our Rabat office and Instiglio has adopted a hybrid working model i.e., a minimum of two (2) days a week at the office and 60 remote working days in a year (prorated for the duration of the internship). Applicants must be willing to move to Rabat for a minimum period of two (2) months as the program does not offer a fully remote working arrangement. Instiglio offers Interns a stipend of 3,500 MAD (approx. $ 350) per month among other generous benefits, which include vacation days, personal days to attend to personal emergencies, sick leave and a company holiday.
