Key Responsibilities

  • Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs to control and prevent health and safety risks from chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic factors
  • Conduct inspections and enforce compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ADNOC HSE requirements
  • Supervise assigned HSE personnel and manage consultant and contractor HSE scopes of work
  • Ensure project Environmental Management Systems comply with HSEIA and EIA codes, guidelines, and project-specific recommendations
  • Review project HSE targets and schedules to ensure effective achievement in line with corporate and project requirements
  • Develop and update HSE standards, procedures, guidelines, audit plans, and training programs
  • Administer HSE documentation and records in compliance with Integrated Management System requirements
  • Review consultant designs to ensure conformity with company safety and environmental requirements
  • Review and approve safety and environmental studies, HSE documents, and deliverables across project phases
  • Participate in HAZOP, environmental and safety studies, accident investigations, and technical evaluations
  • Lead preparation of the annual Sustainability Report and coordinate implementation of ADNOC HSE guidelines and Codes of Practice
  • Provide site support during construction and commissioning on safety and environmental matters
  • Ensure application of state-of-the-art safety technologies and compliance with statutory regulations
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify effective implementation of HSE systems
  • Install, maintain, and continuously upgrade HSE systems to achieve 100 percent HSE culture
  • Develop and implement project HSE audit plans and perform statistical analysis to drive continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain HSE document control systems and ensure timely submission of safety reports and environmental permits
  • Monitor and report safety, health, and environmental compliance to ADNOC GHSE and senior management
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Strong background in project HSE management within oil and gas or large industrial environments
  • Proven experience with HSEIA, EIA, HSEMS, audits, and regulatory compliance
Skills Set
  • In-depth knowledge of ADNOC HSE policies, codes of practice, and international standards
  • Strong leadership, inspection, and risk assessment capabilities
  • Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multi-site projects
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and analytical skills
