Job Description

Project Engineering & Execution

Lead project planning, execution, and delivery of scanning and modeling tasks across multiple sites and disciplines. Develop project scopes, timelines, and resource plans in coordination with engineering and operations teams. Monitor project progress, troubleshoot challenges, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to understand requirements and propose suitable scanning solutions. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and develop tailored scanning strategies. Manage vendor interactions, procurement of scanning equipment, and logistics for field operations. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, ASTM, ASME, and company-specific guidelines.

Point Cloud Processing & Modeling

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to process point cloud data using FARO Scene, Autodesk ReCap, Trimble Real Works, and Cloud Compare Monitor client discussions and align expectations while generating detailed 3D models, as-built drawings, and digital twins for retrofit and engineering projects Collaborate across departments and maintain client communication during clash detection and interference analysis to ensure proper fit before execution

3D Scanning & Data Acquisition

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to conduct 3D scanning on terrestrial, marine, and industrial sites using advanced laser scanning technologies Monitor client requirements and ensure alignment during data acquisition using terrestrial and aerial scanners such as FARO, BLK 360, TRIMBLE TX8, and WINGTRA 1776 Collaborate with stakeholders to examine and validate data from GA, P&ID, and structural drawings for scanning accuracy Communicate with clients and project teams to research and implement efficient scanning techniques for retrofit, revamp, and engineering applications Work closely with engineering teams and clients to utilize scanning equipment and tools for capturing complex structures including pipe racks, ship hulls, machinery, and industrial plants
