Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer with experience in 3D Laser Scanning to join our Digital Twin team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate techno-commercial proposals, cost estimates, and BOQs for laser scanning and modeling projects across various industries (marine, industrial, construction, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Review client RFQs, project scope, and site conditions to prepare detailed cost estimatesReview client RFQs, project scope, and site conditions to prepare detailed cost estimates
Understand scanning methodologies (terrestrial, mobile, drone-based) and software pipelines (e.g., FARO Scene, Trimble RealWorks, Autodesk ReCap, Plant 3D)
Coordinate with technical and operations teams for manpower, equipment, and time estimation
Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals
Factor in travel, logistics, georeferencing, access methods (manlifts, etc.), and safety requirements
Liaise with clients for technical clarifications during bidding
Maintain a cost database of past projects to support quick estimations
Provide cost comparisons for modeling options (non-intelligent, BIM-ready, CAD-ready, etc.)
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Surveying / Geomatics Engineering
Minimum 2-4 years of estimation experience, preferably in 3D scanning, digital twin, or survey projects
Strong knowledge of 3D scanning hardware (FARO, Leica, Trimble) and relevant software
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and proposal documentation
Understanding of project workflows, safety norms, and site logistics
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with RFI / RFQ procedures in oil & gas, marine, or construction sectors
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience in pricing modeling (Lump Sum / Man-day / Per sq.m / Per scan-based)
Time management and multitasking ability
