Duties:
3D Laser Scan Registration (Target-based & Targetless)
Point Cloud Cleaning, Optimization & Quality Control
Georeferencing of Point Clouds using Total Station / GNSS Control Points
Coordinate System Management & Alignment (Local to Project Coordinates)
Scan-to-Scan and Scan-to-Model Accuracy Verification
Deliverables Preparation: Registered Point Clouds, QA/QC Reports, Registration Logs
Collaboration with Design, BIM and Modeling Teams for Accurate Data Handover
Experience:
4+ years of experience in 3D laser scanning, registration, alignment and georeferencing for industrial, retrofit, infrastructure and construction projects.
Proficient in:
FARO Scene
Trimble RealWorks
Autodesk ReCap
Leica Cyclone (optional)
Total Station workflows (Leica)
Control point creation, transformation, and accuracy reporting
