Project Engineer (Civil) - Renovation & Villa Fit-Out
to oversee the execution of interior fit-out projects from planning through to completion. The role requires hands-on engineering expertise, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors, site progress, and quality standards within time and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and executing interior fit-out works.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure design intent and specifications are followed.
Review and interpret project drawings, plans, and specifications.
Oversee daily site activities, ensuring that works are executed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports for stakeholders.
Assist in procurement of materials and manage inventory on site.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and health & safety standards.
Resolve technical issues and site discrepancies in a timely manner.
Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to client requirements.
Prepare and maintain project documentation including RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in fit-out or interior residential projects.
Strong understanding of fit-out works including MEP coordination, joinery, finishes, and detailing.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office; knowledge of BIM/Revit is a plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
