Creative Concepts is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage and execute interior fit-out projects from conception to completion. The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of projects, ensuring high-quality delivery on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. The Project Engineer will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of interior fit-out projects, including:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand scope; prepare detailed project schedules, resource plans, and work programs; coordinate procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials; liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to align project objectives.
Site Supervision & Management:
Oversee daily site activities; supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams to ensure productivity and quality; monitor installation of joinery, finishes, and MEP works; ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to meet design and client specifications; identify and resolve technical or design discrepancies; manage snag lists and ensure defect rectification prior to handover.
Cost & Time Management:
Monitor project budgets and control costs to prevent overruns; track project timelines and ensure milestones are met; prepare progress reports, financial updates, and documentation for management review.
Technical Support & Problem Solving:
Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors; resolve on-site issues such as design conflicts, material shortages, or technical challenges; implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize project execution.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:
Attend client and consultant meetings to provide updates and address concerns; maintain strong professional relationships with clients, vendors, and consultants; ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and to quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and documents; prepare reports on project progress, resource utilization, and compliance; ensure all necessary approvals and permits from local authorities are obtained and documented.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in interior fit-out or joinery project management in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, MEP coordination, and site execution.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and local authority approvals is preferred.
UAE driving license preferred.
