Supervise and manage all finishing works including but not limited to gypsum works, painting, tiling, joinery, ceilings, and external facade finishes.
Ensure execution of works in line with approved shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and procurement teams to ensure timely completion of finishing activities.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation related to finishing works.
Conduct regular inspections and snagging works, and follow up on rectification works to achieve handover-quality results.
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities' regulations and quality standards.
Monitor and control resource allocation (materials, manpower, equipment) specific to finishing stages of the project.
Participate in client and consultant meetings, providing technical input and resolving site issues related to finishes.
Identify potential risks, delays, or technical problems and proactively implement solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
Minimum 6-8 years of UAE experience in a similar role, specifically on
high-rise residential/commercial buildings
.
In-depth knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and international quality standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
Knowledge of local authority requirements and safety standards.
